The Business Financial Health Scorecard is a quick check of how current, organized, and decision-ready your financial information is. It does not measure business value, solvency, creditworthiness, or overall economic health.
Answer 15 plain-language questions covering financial reports, reconciliations, cash visibility, profitability, record organization, payroll and tax documentation, and responsibility for recurring accounting tasks.
After all questions are answered, the Excel scorecard provides one broad result, a response summary, a visible priority note, and three practical next actions. The score is an educational indicator and does not verify the underlying records.
How to use it in three steps
- Choose one response for each question in the Excel scorecard.
- Review the score range, response counts, and critical-item priority note.
- Select the three lowest-rated areas and assign a responsible person and target date.
Important limitations
- The scorecard evaluates financial-information readiness only.
- It does not assess solvency, business value, creditworthiness, compliance, fraud, tax exposure, or ability to continue operating.
- The answers and underlying records are not independently verified.
- General United States educational content only.
